Banana Bavarian Recipe

Banana Bavarian Cream is a creamy and irresistible dessert with a sweet-tangy flavor from ripe bananas and fresh lemon. Perfect for any meal or as a sinful sweet treat in the afternoon.

  • Slice the bananas and sieve to obtain a smooth puree.
  • In a bowl, combine the banana puree with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Soften the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 15 minutes, then squeeze out the excess water.
  • Transfer the gelatin to a saucepan and melt it over low heat, without bringing it to a boil.
  • Allow the melted gelatin to cool slightly before gently incorporating it into the banana mixture.
  • Add the whipped cream to the mixture, being careful to fold it in from bottom to top to avoid deflating it.
  • Pour the mixture into a mold and let it set in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  • To unmold the Bavarian cream, briefly dip the mold in boiling water and then turn it out onto a serving plate.

Notes

For an exotic and crunchy touch, add toasted coconut flakes or dark chocolate pieces to your Bavarian cream before chilling.
