Ingredients

Instructions

  • Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise, remove the woody core and scoop out the flesh, cutting it into cubes. Be careful not to damage the peel, which will be used as a decorative bowl.
  • Peel the avocados: dice one and mash the other with a fork to obtain a puree.
  • In a bowl, mix the avocado puree with an equal amount of mayonnaise until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the chopped fresh chili pepper according to your taste, finely chopped shallots, and well-drained crab meat to the mixture.
  • Gently combine the pineapple and avocado cubes with the mixture, ensuring that all the ingredients are well distributed without crushing the cubes.
  • Fill the pineapple halves with the prepared mixture and decorate with tropical flowers for an exotic final touch.

Notes

For a gourmet touch, add some finely chopped fresh coriander and a few drops of lime juice to enhance the tropical flavors. Additionally, you can replace the traditional mayonnaise with a lighter homemade version or with Greek yogurt for a healthier variant.
