Instructions

  • Start by placing the orange petals in an airtight container with 200 g of alcohol. Let it macerate for five days, gently stirring twice a day.
  • After five days, filter the mixture to remove the petals, obtaining an aromatic infusion.
  • Prepare a light syrup by placing the water and sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Combine the syrup with the orange petal infusion and add the remaining 150 g of alcohol and the cinnamon.
  • Let the liqueur rest for a whole day before bottling.
  • Store the bottles in a cool, dry place for at least two months before consumption, allowing the Ratafià to intensify its aromatic bouquet.

Notes

To give a personal touch to your Orange Ratafià recipe, add a vanilla pod during the maceration phase of the petals. This will give the liqueur a sweet and exotic note that perfectly complements the citrus freshness.
