Dip them in flour, shaking them in a sieve to remove excess flour.
Fry zucchini in hot oil.
Drain them on paper towels and keep warm.
Mix flakes with milk in a large bowl and sprinkle with plenty of pepper.
Cook the pasta until al dente, drain and add it to the cottage cheese.
Stir, add the zucchini, chopped basil, and serve immediately.
Notes
For an even more flavorful twist, try adding a pinch of chili powder to the zucchini during frying. This will add a nice spicy contrast that goes perfectly with the sweetness of the zucchini.
